my favourite things-- [updated 3:01 PM on Friday, May 12, 2006] [ music | lori meyers // nofx. ] I was inspired by room mates Jordan and Rebecca, who were listening to old Our Lady Peace under the stairs, to dig through my old high school mix CDs. So, here I sit, in my boyfriend's bedroom, listening to the likes of Bif Naked, NOFX, The Ataris and The Getup Kids. It's really fun, and listening to it has brought back such good warm vibes-- I didn't realize it at the time, but I was really having a good time. On a similar note, looking back, I always seem to think I'm older/more mature than I actually am. So much so that it scares me, in retrospect. I'm sure I'll feel the same way when I look back on this part of my life in five or ten years. It's hard to make a bed when three cats are napping amongst the mismatched bedding.
